A narrow Gmail boundary
Your inbox is not the product.
Gmail grants one read-only permission. JobPortal then applies a stricter boundary in its own code: it processes only messages in the dedicated JobPortal/Alerts label that also match approved LinkedIn or Handshake alert patterns.
Raw email bodies are processed transiently, not retained or logged. JobPortal stores only the extracted job information and limited operational metadata needed to prevent duplicates and troubleshoot a run.
